Wine and Feng Shui

Wine and Feng Shui

By Mar Sánchez

The meaning of the Chinese word Feng Shui It is "wind and water." If we consult an expert in this ancient art, we can attune energies to make them flow and live in harmony.

Feng Shui can be applied to our home. By placing furniture in the appropriate orientation or choosing certain colors and decorative elements, we can ensure that everyone who lives there experiences happiness and stability.

Feng Shui can be applied to our office or business. If the workplace is well-designed, it seems that the success and economic prosperity of our company are almost guaranteed.

Feng Shui can also help us attract and keep the partner of our dreams, take care of our health, and even make dreams and projects come true.

Why wouldn't Feng Shui affect wine? It's a living product in which the five elements (earth, metal, water, wood, and fire) are present from its origin to its consumption.

María Uriel, a Feng Shui consultant, researches its influence on wine, covering aspects ranging from the orientation of the vineyards and the winery's architectural lines to the placement of barrels and the most appropriate location for each wine. Following these guidelines, we place white wines in the west, rosé wines in the south and southwest, and reserve the north or south for red wines depending on their characteristics.

Magic? Science? Superstition? Snobbery? There will be opinions to suit all tastes, but the fact is that Lee's Food Ibérica, part of the Iberochina group, exclusively distributes the "Feng Shui" wine range in Spain, with great success, for Asian restaurants in its three varieties: Feng Shui Sushi & Fusion White Wine, Feng Shui Sushi & Fusion Rosé Wine, and Feng Shui Sushi & Fusion Wine. red.

Shall we try it with a little sushi or sashimi?
