
A new edition of the Gourmet Hall in Madrid, and there are already 32 events including the one in 2018. One of the most anticipated activities of this year's edition is the exclusive tasting that Quim Vila, co-owner of Vila Viniteca, will lead on May 8th at the Gourmets Stage.
The wine distributor, awarded in the Best Specialty Store category at the 2018 Gourmets Guide awards, exclusively represents more than 200 wineries from around the world.
This epic tasting will feature 5 prestigious international winemakers with their exceptional, world-renowned wines.
Peter Sisseck, a Danish agricultural engineer based in Spain since 1990, will lead the tasting of Pingus 2013. A wine that achieved fame since its first vintage went on sale in 1995.
The famous winemaker Álvaro Palacios, promoter of Priorat wines and author of some references such as L'Ermita or La Faraona, will exhibit Quiñón de Valmira 2015, his new Rioja made in the Palacios Remondo winery, Alfaro.
Didier Depond, president of Champagne Delamotte and the exclusive Salon, considered the world's first Blanc de Blancs, will present his latest vintage, Salon Blanc de Blancs 2007.
Dirk Niepoort, one of Portugal's most influential winemakers, will unveil his Niepoort Garrafeira 1948 for the first time. A legendary and hard-to-find Port, characterized by its aging in large glass demijohns.
Finally, from the Maison Joseph Drouhin of Burgundy, founded in 1880, Frédéric Drouhin will present one of his best creations, Joseph Drouhin Montrachet Grand Cru Marquis de Laguiche 2011.
A unique and likely historic event that very few will be able to attend. However, we will have the opportunity to discover renowned wines from around the world, as Vila Viniteca will offer an exclusive bar at the Grupo Gourmets stand (Hall 8 – 8A15). High-quality national and international wines will be showcased throughout the four-day event.
