Ramón Bilbao presents his Limited Edition Garnacha.
In the easternmost part of the Rioja DOCa territory, that fertile land, with clay-ferrous and alluvial soils called Rioja Oriental, is the territory where the vineyards that produce the grapes for this wine grow.
A new wine of which there are only 40,000 bottles to pay homage to the uniqueness of Garnacha, a chameleon-like grape variety that adapts to convey the best of the landscape in which it grows.
Rioja Oriental is a landscape of contrasts. The influence of the Mediterranean climate leaves its mark. In the lower-altitude vineyards, the climate is drier and warmer, but we also find here the coldest areas of the entire Qualified Designation of Origin.
Fresh and vibrant
Hand-harvested and the best bunches selected. Fermentation in concrete tanks with gentle extraction and aging for 12 months in second- and third-use French oak barrels maintain the elegance and freshness of this wine with its discreet and enveloping tannins. On the nose, primary aromas of red fruit take center stage, and on the palate, it is fresh and structured.
The silence of the heights
In mountainous areas, high-altitude vineyards are the first to receive the warm rays of the morning sun that come to heat the vines, and the thermal contrast contributes to obtaining wines of excellent quality; fresh and light.
The grapes for Ramón Bilbao Limited Edition Garnacha come from vineyards grown at over 600m with an east-west orientation in Monte Yerga, Grávalos and Arnedo
